About Jessica Formoso
Jessica Formoso is a two-time Emmy Award-winning bilingual journalist with FOX 5 New York, where she has been delivering impactful stories since 2015. Her work has taken her into the heart of some of the region’s most significant events, including coverage of Hurricane Irene, Superstorm Sandy, the Ebola outbreak, and the arrival of unaccompanied minors to the United States.

Before joining FOX 5, Jessica reported for News 12 Networks, including News 12 En Español, earning recognition for her culturally informed storytelling and dedication to community-focused journalism. In 2013, she received the Garden State Journalists’ “Best TV–General News” award for her feature on the Mexican Red Cross aiding Hurricane Sandy victims.

A graduate of Hofstra University with a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in economics, Jessica is also a proud member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and making memories with her loved ones in Eastern New York.
